UFC fighter Adam Yandiev, who was detained the day before by law enforcement agencies of the capital in the framework of criminal cases of attacks on heavyweight Bellator Sergei Kharitonov and businessman Ruslan Abdo, was detained for 48 hours and placed in a pre-trial detention center.
The further measure of restraint for the average weight will be determined by the court.
Representatives of Yandiyev confirmed the information that the fighter is currently in jail, and also called an interview with Sergei Kharitonov a lie, in which he voiced his version of the events that preceded the attack.

Earlier, Adam Yandiev told reporters that he had already recorded his interview, which will be published in the near future and will expose Sergei Kharitonov, who claims that the reason for the attack was a financial debt of the average weight in the amount of one million rubles.
Recall that last Friday at a mixed martial arts event in Luzhniki, Adam Yandiev beat businessman Ruslan Abdo, and then attacked Sergei Kharitonov, as a result of which both victims were hospitalized with serious injuries. Both were diagnosed with concussions and nasal fractures, and Kharitonov’s orbital bone was broken.
According to unconfirmed information, Yandiyev used brass knuckles as a weapon during the attack, which would significantly aggravate his guilt if this fact is proven.
